Actin-11 antibody, rabbit polyclonal

Background

Actin is a highly conserved protein and an essential component of cell cytoskeleton and plays an important role in cytoplasmic streaming, cell shape determination, cell division, organelle movement and extension growth.

Preferentially expressed in young and expanding tissues, floral organ primordia, developing seeds and emerging inflorescence.

Immunogen: full length ACT11 (Actin-11) from Arabidopsis thaliana, accession number NP_187818.1

Concentration: 1.0mg/ml

Tested applications: Western blot (WB), Expected/apparent MW: 41.6 | 45 kDa Species specificity: Arabidopsis thaliana

Recommended dilution: 1 : 500-2000 (WB )(optimal dilutions should be determined by the end use.)

Storage Buffer: PBS Buffer, pH7.4

Storage: Store at 2°C to 8°C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C. Stable for 2 years from date of receipt. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
